This is a brilliant photo essay. In my opinion, this is the best book ever written about geese. Konrad Lorenz was a Nobel Prize Laureate who devoted his lifetime to the study of geese.He was known as the Father of the Greylag geese. He spent so much time studying geese that he could think like a goose! Every goose lover should own a copy of this book! Brilliant photography!

This book goes into much greater detail about the greylag geese and other geese than The Year of the Greylag Goose. I loved this book and learned a lot from it. You'll love it, too, if you want to know just about everything there is to know about geese. The photos and Konrad's illustrations are, as usual, brilliant. A worthwhile read and a terrific reference. No goose lover should be without this book!
